Data Governance Principles
Local-First Architecture
Our desktop utilities (such as File Basket) operate strictly on your local machine. Files, snippets, text entries, and clipboard metadata remain stored locally in your system directory. We do not transfer your files or staging contents to our servers.
Licensing and Activation Checks
To authenticate your lifetime purchase, the desktop application communicates with our web API during activation. This request transmits only your License Key and a hashed hardware fingerprint (Machine ID) to register your device slot. No personal files or details are ever collected during this verification.
No Tracking or Telemetry
We believe software should serve you, not track you. Our applications contain zero telemetry collection, user analytics tracking, or behavioral SDKs. We do not gather information about how you utilize our apps.
Stripe and Profile Security
When buying a license key, payments are processed directly and securely by Stripe. We save only necessary order references (email address, full name, transaction status) to maintain your web portal profile and license records.
